THIS IS AGAIST THE FEDERAL CONSUMER REVIEW FAIRNESS ACT STATING….The Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA) protects people’s ability to share their honest opinions about a business’s products, services, or conduct, in any forum, including social media. Contracts that prohibit honest reviews, or threaten legal action over them, harm people who rely on reviews when making their purchase decisions. But another group is also harmed when others try to squelch honest negative reviews: businesses that work hard to earn positive reviews.
The Consumer Review Fairness Act was passed in response to reports that some businesses try to prevent people from giving honest reviews about products or services they received. Some companies put contract provisions in place, including in their online terms and conditions, that allowed them to sue or penalize consumers for posting negative reviews.
WHAT KIND OF REVIEWS DOES THE LAW PROTECT?
The law protects a broad variety of honest consumer assessments, including online reviews, social media posts, uploaded photos, videos, etc. And it doesn’t just cover product reviews. It also applies to consumer evaluations of a company’s customer service.
Congress gave enforcement authority to the Federal Trade Commission and the state Attorneys General. The law specifies that a violation of the CRFA will be treated the same as violating an FTC rule defining an unfair or deceptive act or practice. This means that your company could be subject to financial penalties, as well as a federal court order.
If you have been threatened for giving a honest review on any company this is a violation of the law , please stand up for your rights. You can make a complaint by contacting :

In all fairness, this was the first year they were back and it was a total disappointment. I was extremely excited to be part of the organization that sparked my interests in pageant back in 2018 when they announced they were not coming back. I was extremely excited to be part of the organization that sparked my interests in pageant back in 2018 when they announced they were not coming back. Fast forward to 08/2021 I entered the pageant a few weeks before pageant day. The director pushed me to do my ad sales by a dead line which I did & then pageant day comes and I seen that my ads aren't not on the program book. I really hope they update the venue because $295 entry fee plus $50 of AD sales & $50 of mandatory ticket sells is not what we got. It was an abandoned mall with no AC & NO STAGE I had to drag my cape on carpet.... yeah that was horrible. The only nice staff would be the directors parents the moms wear in the back the WHOLE time helping us & the dad's would give us as much moral support as they could. Over all they try to promote a "bully free pageant" when in fact they use this same excuse to bully you. The whole time I was being extremely disrespected & my voice did not matter to them. The director often uses her counter part to deal with situations & never assumes responsibility her self. If you do joining this pageant please take a few people that are willing to help you because this system is still trying to figure it out them self. Not only did they crown the wrong girl, it was so bad that the girl that actually won didn't even want it because of how UNPROFESSIONAL the pageant is. Ladies please make sure to do your research on the city they hold the pageant because the venue & city was sketchy and saw very inappropriate things. Nevertheless, at the end of the day the deal breaker was how they rudely handled almost every situation and how they demand things from girls with no manners.Show less
