Who’s ready to be crowned Miss Plus Size San Antonio? With plus size fashion and empowerment on the rise, we are ready to crown one lucky contestant to represent the plus size community in San Antonio.

The inaugural Miss Plus Size San Antonio pageant is on Friday September 4th 2020 at The Event Center @ Pica Pica Plaza from 4-7pm 910 SE Military Dr 78214. The inaugural pageant is co-hosted by Live From The Southside, sponsored by Rudy Lopez Entertainment

"I contemplated for many years leading up to today if San Antonio was ready for a plus size pageant, I debated putting it out there because I was terrified of social media. Until I realized that social media or any negative comments weren't going anywhere, and neither was my vision. Why was I going to keep all of San Antonio from recognizing so many beautiful, talented, educated, independent, curvaceous and most of all courageous women who would be participating?" said Roxanne Quintero, Founder of Miss Plus Size San Antonio.

“The Southside is growing and booming with so many amazing things, it’s exciting and the perfect time to bring positivity and light to our plus size community and what better place than our Southside community.” Said April Monterrosa, co-host and Director of Communications of Miss Plus Size San Antonio and owner of Live From The Southside.

Roxanne Quintero is the Founder and Pageant Director of the first-ever Miss Plus Size San Antonio Pageant. She was born and raised San Antonio and is a descendant of Alamo defender Gregorio Esparza. Her roots run deep in the city as she is also the Founder of the Fideo Loco Festival which promotes anti bullying, and cyber bullying, and supports several non-profit organizations.
