On September 2, 2019, Miss Illinois USA 2019 Alexandra Plotz crowned Olivia Pura as the new Miss Illinois USA 2020. Miss Illinois Teen USA 2019 A'Maiya Allen crowned the new Miss Illinois Teen USA 2020. The new titleholders won the opportunity to represent Illinois at Miss USA 2020 and Miss Teen USA 2020 pageants.
