About Louisiana Cotton Festival
This pageant is held every October to choose an ambassador for the Louisiana Cotton Festival. The Louisiana Cotton Queen is chosen from any girl throughout the state that must be 17 thru 22 years of age. Queen Cotton participates in the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queens Pageant and attends the Mystick Krewe of Louisianian's Mardi Gras Ball in Washington, D.C.
