Miss Rhode Island World Pageants

Up until 2014, the Miss World America representative was chosen from the modeling industry. 2015 marks the first year of holding Miss Rhode Island World. The winner of Miss Rhode Island World goes on to compete for the title of Miss World America. The winner of Miss World America then goes on to compete for Miss World.

In order to be eligible, contestants must be between the ages of 17 and 25. The areas of competition include Interview, Fitness, Evening Gown and Public Speaking. Each phase of competition counts for 20% of a contestant’s total pageant score.
