Miss Rodeo Minnesota is the ideal Western American young woman. She symbolizes the youth of Minnesota who wish to promote the sport of professional rodeo and the Western way of life.

Miss Rodeo Minnesota, is the official ambassador of Professional Rodeo/PRCA in the state of Minnesota.

Miss Rodeo Minnesota goes on to compete at Miss Rodeo America, held annually in conjunction with the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
