About Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts Pageant
The annual Puerto Rican Festival is our flagship event that brings together people from all heritages to share our culture. This three day event will be returning to Playstead park (Franklin Park) where we celebrate our traditions and honor our history.
The festival consist of live performances by local and international artist, kiosks selling typical Puerto Rican food, local arts and crafts, mechanical rides and different activities for the entire family. It offers the opportunity for business partners to interact with the Hispanic community, including a Health Expo. The festival culminates with the Puerto Rican Parade where the community showcases its culture through wonderful floats, colorful dance troupes, singers, dancers and appearances by distinguished honorees.
Our proven ability to attract 90,000+ participants in the course of the three day celebration, coupled with this year’s outstanding program of events, musical bands, artists and sponsors, makes the Festival the perfect venue to market and outreach to the fastest growing ethnic population in New England and in the United States.
The Festival includes kiosks that will feature different activities, including a health fair, face painting for kids, storytelling of Puerto Rican traditional stories and legends, presentations of eco-friendly gardening and cooking techniques, and teaching of Puerto Rican musical percussion.
