I was highly impressed with this pageant. Communication from the Leadership was great for several months leading to the show, with clear directions and expectations. Everything we needed to know was clearly and timely shared through a Facebook group. Everything we needed to know was clearly and timely shared through a Facebook group. During pageant weekend, both the Director and outgoing Titleholders were on hand to answer questions, lead rehearsal, and ensure that things ran smoothly. Any issues raised to the Leadership were immediately addressed. On site HMU and photography was high-qualirt, professional, and efficiently worked into scheduling. The production itself was great. Nice stage in a real theater! We had ample time for practice on the stage before the show. Everything ran smoothly and the audience said that the show was quick and fun to watch. I had a great time and met some really amazing ladies. It was a pretty packed schedule for two days and would have loved for it to expand to a few days. Overall, I nice experience and the coordinator, Deveney, seemed to be really committed to putting on a great show!

My first time competing in the USOA system was an unforgettable experience. This was the inaugural pageant for DC, MD, and VA and the state director did an awesome job of putting on a quality production! I'm excited to see how this organization grow over the years. There were so many talented, and accomplished women who took the stage to represent our Nation's Capital and I was proud to be one of them!

The national staff are also just as involved and I can tell they work tirelessly to host an awesome titleholder experience and national pageant. I applaud the DMV director who not only responsive in answering every question prior to the pageant, but sent schedules and opening number routine so that each contestant was prepared to be their very best. Additionally, she did it for THREE STATES at ONCE! I appreciated the timeliness of each day and felt comfortable knowing that events would run on-time. If there were any suggestions to offer to improve the pageant experience, I would have liked to have more time for our costume parade. I also think having a scheduled time for winner headshots the following day would have been helpful.Show less
